Indiantown was always considered an agricultural and industrial area. This town has always been surrounded by numerous ranches, and the huge Minute Maid Groves, giving was to become home to many workers, as well as a steel mill, printing plant, specialty flour mill, citrus concentrate plants, two electrical generating sites, retail stores, churches, a rodeo bowl, airstrip and marina.
